ELECTROLYSIS
Electrolysis or electrology is permanent hair removal by the process of inserting a fine, solid, pre-sterilized needle (wire, or probe) into a hair follicle and applying a small amount of electrical current to permanently destroy the hair growth cells.
The most common areas for unwanted hair removal are:
Upper lip, eyebrows, bikini line, neck, breasts, underarms, abdomen, arms, hands, legs, toes and hairline for women; and for men: mid-brow, back, chest, neck and shoulders.
Electrolysis is currently the only method of permanent hair removal. There are 3 different methods to achieve this, but all three involve treating each hair individually with a fine, steel probe (needle) and electric current. Topical anaesthetic creams applied one hour before the procedure may help to reduce discomfort. A very fine, sterile probe is inserted within the follicle alongside the hair. The skin is not punctured or harmed in any way, and for most people, this process causes very little discomfort.
The 3 Methods of Permanent Hair Removal
The Galvanic Method: Destroys the hair by decomposing the papilla.
The Thermolysis Method: Destroys the hair by coagulating the papilla by heat.
The Blend Method: Uses a combination of both methods. This method is effective in treating deep, bulbous terminal hairs and curved follicles.
Due to "missed" follicles, it is not always possible to reach the entire papilla and hair root with the first treatment itself. So additional successive treatment may be required.
Electrolysis uses low-level electricity to kill the hair follicles. On the positive side, results last longer than with waxing and depilatories - but the process can be time consuming and costly.
It's essential to find a reputable practitioner because electrolysis performed incorrectly can cause scarring. Before you begin treatment, ask for referrals from former clients, and make sure that a new needle is used for each session.
SQUINT CORRECTION
In squint this relationship of two eyes is disturbed. The squinting eye may turn in (converge), turn out (diverge) or sometimes turn up or down. These can be present all or only part of the time, in one or alternating between two eyes. It can
arise because of an incorrect balance of the muscles that move the eyes, faulty nerve signals to muscles, refractive errors, childhood illnesses, etc.
Squint can begin at any age, as early as the first few months of life or at any time through childhood. Your friends may note one eye drifting out or they many note both eyes drifting out at different times. Squint begins as an intermittent problem. Often you feel very tired. The deviation may not be noticed at all and may be picked up only on routine eye examination. When one eye is deviated outward, the brain ignores it. The squint may worsen over time, or it may remain the same. It is extremely rare for the problem to go away spontaneously. If the drifting is frequent and severe enough, eye muscle surgery is recommended. If neglected eye is at risk of the loss of vision because of disuse. Glasses may also be prescribed.
The adjustment of the muscles of the eye to correctly align the eyes is the most common eye operation performed. A squint operation may take from 15-40 minutes. The procedure is relatively straightforward and the results are good. More than one operation will sometimes be required.
LASIK FOR SPECTACLE REMOVAL
LASIK is just a form of outpatient corneal surgery. A corneal flap is made with an instrument called microkratotome. A hinge is left at one end of this flap. The surgeon then uses a laser beam to remove a pre-determined amount of corneal tissue from the exposed bed of the cornea. A hinge is left at one end of this flap. The amount of tissue to be removed is calculated based on the pre-operative determination of the power of your eye; these measurements are usually in agreement with recent prescriptions for your glasses and/or contact lenses. The flap is replaced and within minutes natural forces hold the flap down on the cornea. Usually, within a few hours, the surface epithelium of the cornea begins to grow over the cut edge of the flap to seal it into position. LASIK can be used to correct nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism.
When you begin to think about LASIK surgery, there are so many questions. And all providers are definitely not alike. That's why understanding how to get the best possible results, in the safest possible way is so important.

One of the first things people notice is your smile. If chipped, stained, or crooked teeth are "hiding" the real you, it's time for a smile make over. Porcelain Crowns. When the size of a "filling" exceeds a certain proportion of the tooth; it must be replaced with a "cap," also called a"crown." Use of porcelain crowns look very natural and don't have a dark metal line. Porcelain crowns reflect light with a natural healthy glow.
Go natural with dental implants. Implants are bridges that are permanently anchored into the jaw. Because there is always a perfect fit, dental implants are almost the same as having your natural teeth back again. To qualify for implants, you'll need healthy oral tissues and jawbone ridges that are in good shape.
Dental bonding sculpts individual teeth with a special tooth-like material that looks, acts and feels like the real thing. Bonding is an affordable, quick and painless way to repair many cosmetic flaws or injuries.
Replace old crowns and bridges with metal-free restorations. There's a huge difference between metal fillings and porcelain restorations that reflect the translucence of natural teeth. Your new metal-free crowns, inlays and bridges won't show wear or cause opposing teeth to erode, and fitting the crown or bridge is a breeze.
